Gut Healthy Banana Bread

This limited ingredient homemade banana bread uses greek yogurt which contains millions of good bacteria which acts as a probiotic aiding the body in healthy good gut bacteria. If your sweet tooth is craving something sweet whip up a loaf of this banana bread (NO ADDED SUGAR!!)

Ingredients:

1 3/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 2 eggs, 1 cup mashed bananas, 1/3 cup maple syrup, 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup plain nonfat greek yogurt, and 1 tsp vanilla extract.

Directions:

1. Grease a loaf pan 2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees 3. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. Set bowl aside 4. Lightly beat the eggs in a medium sized mixing bowl. Add mashed bananas, greek yogurt, maple syrup, and stir until well combined 5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently. Do not over mix. 6. Pour the batter into the loaf pan, spreading it out evenly, and bake (normally takes my loaf in my oven about an hour) just baked until a knife can be stuck in the middle without any of the batter sticking to the knife.
